HERE’S WHAT’S IN THE ‘TIFFANY BLUEPRINT’ FOR WISCONSIN:
Attacking our Social Security
Tiffany signed on to a plan that called for raising the retirement age for Social Security and Medicare, cutting benefits. He’s also separately said he supports raising the retirement age.
Tiffany repeatedly voted against protecting Medicare from automatic cuts.
Cutting Veterans’ Benefits
Tiffany voted for an ultra-MAGA spending bill that could cut veterans’ benefits by 22%.
Tiffany opposed the bipartisan PACT Act, which expanded benefits for veterans exposed to burn pits and toxic substances, repeatedly voting against the bill.
Banning Abortion
Tiffany is an anti-abortion radical who supports a national abortion ban. He supports a federal 6-week abortion ban, aiming to effectively ban abortion nationwide and strip Wisconsinites of their freedom to choose. This ban contains no exceptions for victims of rape or incest and could put doctors and nurses in prison.
In all of his runs for Congress, he’s been endorsed by a far-right anti-abortion group that supports making abortion “legally unacceptable”
Tiffany was supported by an extremist group that wanted to force child rape victims to give birth.
Voted against the Right to Contraception Act, which would guarantee the right to birth control in federal law
Overturning the will of the people
Tiffany is one of only two members of the Wisconsin delegation who voted to overturn the 2020 election results, and said that had there been a vote to overturn Wisconsin’s election results, he would have voted for it.
As recently as April 2023, Tiffany refused to acknowledge that Joe Biden won the 2020 election.
He called for a House Judiciary Committee hearing on treatment of January 6 prisoners and opposed a bipartisan investigation into the Capitol riot.
Higher Drug Prices
Tiffany voted against capping drug costs for seniors and allowing Medicare to negotiate lower prices.
Tiffany repeatedly voted against lowering insulin prices.
THE BOTTOM LINE:
